Yoplait Greek Yogurt Review/Giveaway!
>> Monday, April 11, 2011
Since I just had a baby and we are now approaching prime bathing suit weather, I have been trying to eat better - but since I love to snack, it has been a bit of a challenge finding the right types of snacks to have when I am craving something sweet. Yoplait & MyBlog Spark recently sent me a prize pack with lots of goodies including a free product coupon good for their new and improved Yoplait Greek yogurt. It has more protein than regular yogurt- with 14 to 17 grams of protein in each cup, zero-fat, and a delicious alternative for a wholesome snack.
There are lots of great flavors to choose from - Blueberry, Strawberry, Peach, Honey Vanilla, Key Lime, and Plain – all with zero percent fat and at least 14 grams of protein. I tried the Honey Vanilla and love it! Next, I am going for the Key Lime - nummy!
Through May 31st, Yoplait has a sweepstakes you can enter on their Facebook page. Just “like” them and then click on the “Greek’ tab to enter for a chance to win a Yoplait Greek snack pack or other fun prizes. You can also get a coupon for .35 off Yoplait Greek Yogurt.

I love chicken salad but avoid it most of the time because it usually contains so much mayonnaise! I substitute Greek yogurt for 1/2 of the mayo in my Rosemary Chicken Salad, it is light and sooo good! A great lunch or snack.
My new favorite snack is apple slices with peanut butter. I also like the 100 calorie special k cracker bars (I think that's what they're called)- they taste like a yummy dessert :). I'm trying new snacks all the time to find something new and healthy to munch on!

I love to make my own "trail mix". I put almonds, craisens~ any flavor and a lot of the time it's multiple flavors, dried apricots, and any other dried fruit that looks good!!

I am ADDICTED to ants on a log. Yep, that childhood classic of celery, peanut butter, and raisins. It's been working just fine for me since the ripe old age of 4, so why mess with perfection? Hahaha!
